Program Overview

Step 1

Assessment Test

All students begin with an assessment (placement) test.

Step 2

Classwork

After, students have 1 year to complete any classes and classwork assigned.

Step 3

Final Test

Students will finish their class by taking the final test. This step is repeated until all classes are completed. Students must score 70% or higher to pass.

Done!

Graduation

After students complete these three steps, they are done with their program and can graduate! Students are welcome to attend one of our graduations to celebrate by filling out a graduation form.

Billing Questions

Question: What is the total tuition cost of the Adult Education Program (high school diploma program)?

Answer: The total cost is $400 with our scholarship or $700 without our scholarship.

Question: How do I apply for a scholarship?

Answer: You do not need to apply for a scholarship. All you need to do is make a $400 payment at the time of your registration and we will use that same registration form to apply and collect your scholarship to apply to your tuition.

Question: Who qualifies for a scholarship?

Answer: All first-time students that make a $400 payment at the time of their registration qualify. If you have never received a scholarship before and make a $400 payment when you register, you will automatically receive the EIPCS scholarship. If for some reason you do not qualify or we are out of scholarship funds, we will contact you shortly after registering.

Question: Is there a difference in cost for the online vs paper program?

Answer: No, the tuition cost for both programs are the same. However, the paper program will cost you more than the online program in the long-run. This is due to the repeated cost of paying for return postage. The paper program only pays the cost to mail classwork to you, not from you. You will be responsible for funding all the classwork that needs to be returned to us. Students in the paper program should expect to pay for postage at least 3 times during the duration of their program.

Question: Do I have to pay for another class or final test attempt if I fail it?

Answer: In the online program, you are able to take retake up to 2 classes for free. If you need to retake more than 2 classes, you will need to pay $50 per class. In the paper program, you are able to retake a final test up to 2 times (3 test attempts in total). After 3 failed final test attempts, you will be required to switch to the online program to better learn the material. You cannot pay for a 4th final test attempt to avoid switching to the online program.

Question: I finished my program and graduated, but still owe a balance on my account. Can my documents be mailed to me while I'm paying the balance off?

Answer: No, the school will not release your documents until your balance is paid in full. This includes any remaining tuition that may be owed, lates fees, book damage fees, and any other reasons you would have a balance on your account.

Program Questions

Question: How does the online program work?

Answer: You will start this program with an assessment test, then you will continue to your classes. At the end of each class, you will complete your class by taking the final test for that class. In most classes, the classwork is worth 50% and the final test is worth 50% of the overall score for that class, thus increasing the odds of students passing the class. After you have successfully completed all your classes, you will submit a "request to graduate" form to have your classwork and scores reviewed. If your request is approved, you will receive an Exit Letter (via email) letting you know that you have successfully completed your program. This Exit Letter explains what will happen next in exiting the program and processing your documents. This letter will also allow you to pay your outstanding balance (if you have one) and pay to expedite your documents (if you want to).

Question: How does the paper program work?

Answer: To start, you will be mailed an assessment test along with a study guide workbook to complete. Once these are completed, you will mail them back for grading. Depending on your scores, you will either be mailed more schoolwork to complete or be assigned your final tests. Once you are assigned the final tests, you have 30 days from the day you were assigned your final tests to complete them. This givens students enough time to make plans to find and access a computer to take they final tests online. Unlike the online program, your schoolwork scores will not influence your overall final test scores. Students who do not vigorously study or take this program serious, usually fail this program. In result, these students will be required to switch to the online program to receive more extensive help and guidance.

Question: How long is each program?

Answer: Because these are self-paced programs, the time it takes to complete these programs mainly depends on the you (the student). We find that most students complete the online program faster than the paper program. Students in the online program usually complete their program within 3 to 6 months. Students in the paper program usually complete their program within 6 to 12 months. Remember, these are estimated times and cannot be guaranteed.

Question: In the paper program, can my final tests be mailed to me?

Answer: No, all final exams must be completed under supervision, either at an approved testing center or by using our online proctoring system.

Question: Which program would you recommend for a working or busy student?

Answer: We highly recommend the online program! In the online program, you do not need to worry about meeting your final testing deadline like the paper program. Even though these are self-pace programs, all of our tests have a deadline once assigned. In the online program, you have a whole year to complete your classes and usually 1 hour or more to complete your final test at the end of your class.

Question: What if I fail a class in the online program or fail a final test in the paper program?

Answer: If you fail a class (depending on your score) you will either be assigned extra credit to help increase your score or will be assigned another class to complete. If you fail a final test in the paper program, after more studying, you are able to retake that test. However, if you fail one of the final tests in the paper program 3 times, you will be required to switch to the online program to better learn the material.

Question: What if I am still working on earning my diploma, but someone wants to verify that I am in school?

Answer: You can do one of two things, you can request a "Education Verification Letter" and send/give it to the organization yourself for a $10 fee, or you can refer them to our website to complete an "Education Verification (for organizations)" request and we will confirm your school status for free.

Graduation Questions

Question: How long will it take to receive my documents (diploma and transcripts)?

Answer: Unless you paid an extra fee to expedite your documents, you will receive your documents within 30 days after your graduation date. Your graduation date is the same day you received your Exit Letter (for the online program) or the same day you passed your final tests (for the paper program). Question: Is the graduation ceremony free and do I have to attend it?

Answer: The ceremony itself is free, but the dinner afterwards is not. Attending the graduation ceremony is completely optional. For more information about the graduation ceremony, please refer to our "Graduation Ceremony" form or Click Here.

Question: If I need an organization or my job to verify my education (diploma), what do I do?

Answer: You can refer them to the "Education Verification Request (for organizations)" form located under "Shortcuts" on the cover page of this website. For a $10 fee, you can also personally request an "Education Verification Letter" and have it emailed or mailed to the organization/person requesting this verification.

Question: What if my school of choice doesn't accept this diploma?

Answer: Because there are thousands of schools all over the nation, it is expected that not every school knows who we are. It could be as simple as your school of choice needs information about us or needs us to apply to their acceptance list. Whatever the reason may be, if you have any issues with a school accepting our diploma, contact our Issues Department by emailing main@educatorsinc.org or by calling 800-590-9611 (ext. 6). However, since it's at the school's discretion if they want to accept our diploma, we cannot guarantee any student that they will be accepted into any school. Question: An organization or job tried to verify my education (diploma), but they told me they were unsuccessful, what would be the reason for this and what can I do to fix it?

Answer: The most common reason is that a records release form was missing from the request form. Before we can verify your education (diploma), you must provide us with written consent that we have your permission to release such information. Most potential employers will hire a 3rd-party organization that will provide you with a records release form for you to sign before preforming a background check on you. If for some reason the organization does not have a records release form, one is provided on the last page when completing the "Education Verification Request" form. Another common reason why your education may have not been verified, was because the information on the verification request form was incorrect/didn't match the student we have on record. In this case, you will need to contact us to verify your information before we can fulfill the request. A less-common reason why your education may have not been verified, would be that you are not in our records and are confusing us with another school that has a similar name. In this case, we recommend that the you contact us directly to make sure that we do not have you in our records under a different or misspelled name.

Our transcript reflects the grades of each course the student completed, equaling 24 credits and meeting the Florida State Standard for Adult Education.
